In May 2016 Charter Hall entered into a third 50/50 joint venture with Wilmac Properties to develop 71 strata office/warehouse units plus a stand-alone 3-level strata office building and cafe in Nunawading, Victoria.
Nunawading is 18 kilometres east of the Melbourne CBD and the site lies within close proximity to Nunawading Train Station and the ‘Golden Mile’ Melbourne’s premier bulky goods shopping district. It has excellent access to the Eastlink Motorway, Maroondah Highway and Springvale Road.
The Nunawading site was acquired on deferred terms with settlement occurring in September 2016. Stage 1 construction commenced in February 2017 and completed in mid 2018, with the remaining units to be completed by the end of 2018.
